The Upsetters — Super Ape

Lee "Scratch" Perry was instrumental in making reggae dub. His studio band was the Upsetters. Their best album is believed to be Super Ape. Whether or not it's the best, it's certainly very nice.

Also, it's great that often when life turns around in one way, it starts to turn around in many ways. Or maybe I'm just a momentum sort of guy, chhapad phaadke as they say in Hindi; when things go up they soar, when they go down they sink. I hope that isn't true: I'd love for some moderation when it comes to highs and lows, especially as I grow older. But anyway, count your blessings, name them one by one, and it'll surprise you what the lord has done.

Check out Super Ape, my soundtrack to the good times I hope are here.
